Pine Floors
If you live in a house built any time in the last 300 years, there is a high probability that it has pine floor boards throughout. Have a look under the carpet. They may look old, dirty and battered but don't let that fool you. Time and again our clients are amazed and delighted by the results we achieve. Often, a succession of plumbers, electricians and gas fitters have chopped and ripped up the boards, replacing them with modern timber or worse. When undertaking repairs, we use a number of reclaimed timber specialists to source boards that match your existing floor as closely as possible. We can replace unwanted concrete hearths with reclaimed timber as well as extending pine floors into extensions over concrete floors. Once sanding and, if required, gap filling, has been completed, the boards can be stained or simply sealed as they are. Whatever choices you make, the end result is always a beautiful, natural wooden floor you can be proud of.
